Today, Second reading post

Today, I read three more chapters. In these chapters she has lived her birthday the fourth time. In class, right after the pop quiz she has taken 4 times, she looks at Leo, like she has every other day. This day instead of having his head in his hand, he's looking strait at her. Then he winks at her and asked to go to the bathroom. As he passed her he gave a note to her, it said to meet him before lunch, (happy birthday for the 4th time) When she met him, they realized they were both having the same thing happen to them. They plan to meet after their birthdays, he is supposed to go over after his and talk about the past few days. That night, Amanda's mom comes in after her party and grounds her because she thinks she switched she presentation board with her sisters science project. When Leo tries to come over her mom won't let him come in because Amanda is grounded.

I think it was very rude to not let Leo come in, even if she was grounded, they had known each other since birth. If he had come over to apologize, though really late, i think her mom should have given him the time of day, just to say a couple of words to her.

First Day

Today I started the book 11 Birthdays. So far it's about a girl who has had every birthday together, even when they were first born. At the beginning, when they were both born at about the same time, in the same hospital the boys mom said it was special so they should celebrate it every year at their birthday. On their first birthday they were forced to share the same party room at a party store, because it was over crowded so they had to share. From there they had every birthday together. This year, her eleventh birthday is going to be different, they are having separate parties. Last year, she heard him talking to some of his friends and he said it was lame and stupid that he shared a party with a girl. Now she is really mad at him and hasn't talked to him since the party last year.
